A crown may be considered after significant damage from decay, trauma or old fillings, or to restore tooth shape and appearance. The decision follows assessment of the remaining tissue, root and bite.
Material and fabrication method are selected after diagnosis. No option is universally best for every tooth. The individual pages describe the materials in more detail.
For front teeth, colour, shape and matching neighbouring teeth matter. For back teeth, chewing load and bite contacts matter. In both cases, remaining tissue, root condition, bite and clinical circumstances guide individual material selection.
The tariffs below come from the clinic’s current price list. The final cost and treatment scope are agreed after diagnosis; additional procedures are not automatically included.

Cost depends on the material, fabrication method and preparation needed. Decay treatment, root canal treatment and other additional procedures are considered in the individual plan. Implant crowns are a separate treatment and are not mixed into this page’s tariffs.
Treatment involves diagnosis and planning, tooth preparation, impressions or a digital scan, fabrication, fitting and fixation, bite checks and aftercare advice. This describes treatment stages and does not promise that every procedure is included in one tariff.

Preparation depends on the tooth’s condition and the chosen restoration. The tooth, root and surrounding tissues are assessed; treatment is completed first when needed. No universal preparation thickness or routine root canal treatment is promised for every case.
Before treatment, material tolerance, gum and root condition, tooth mobility and bruxism are discussed. Inflammation or other findings may require prior treatment or a revised plan. Anaesthesia is used as indicated during preparation. Fit and bite are checked at fitting; freedom from complications cannot be guaranteed.
Service life depends on material, tooth condition, load and care; an exact lifespan cannot be guaranteed. Clean teeth and interdental spaces, avoid excessive loads and attend reviews on the schedule agreed with your dentist. Contact the clinic if discomfort develops.
